Stromboli Ginostra crater area (Sicilia, Italy)

Location of the installed permanent station for measuring CO2 flux from soil diffuse degassing on the top of Stromboli volcano (red point). The permanent station is also shown in the box on the right side of the picture. On the base of the volcano there is Ginostra Village (Image credits: Salvatore Inguaggiato).

Description: Soil diffuse degassing at Ginostra crater area, Stromboli. CO2 fluxes have been measured randomly by covering an area of about 17,389 m2.
