Description: Las Hornillas (that comes from “horno” – oven) is located near the Miravalles Geothermal Project in « La Fortuna de Bagaces », that generates electricity thanks to the force of the master steams in the subsoil. Las Hornillas is a 26,900 square feet crater with volcanic action: fumaroles, boiling mud of various colours, crystallization of sulphur, hot water.
